Influented by temprate and subtropical climate, the weather in Sapa is cool around year. The average temprature is 15ºC. May to August is rainny season. The average rainfall is 1,800mm a year.
In summer, the weather is not as hot as coastal delta area. Degree of heat is at night and 20ºC - 25°C in day time. In winter, frog makes Sapa usually cold, the temprature may drop to 0°C, and snow sometime falls.
Sapa experiences four seasons a day: cool spring in morning, sunny summer in midday, cloudy autumn in the afternoon, and cold winter at night.
